Sunset

{One of my favourite sunsets ever. This was also taken on the boating holiday with my family.}

I hope you have all enjoyed the photos this week. I'm back tomorrow, so this is the last one!

Sunlight

{A few years ago we went boating with my family. On the last morning we were moored up and I took my tea outside. Across the canal were these horses frolicking in the sunlight.}

I have very fond memories of this holiday - it was when T asked my Dad's permission to ask me to marry him.

The Bluest Blue

{Last summer, for our anniversary T and I took a picnic and went off on a cliff top walk. We sat down for our lunch and watched the waves come crashing in, and the boats bobbing around in the bay. It was just perfect, and isn't the colour of that sea gorgeous?}.

High as a Kite

{Another Cornwall photo. We climbed a hill and flew our kite one blustery day last summer. The views were amazing.}

Crabbing

{People catching crabs off Beaumaris pier. The crabs swarm to this area for the food on the lines - they've obviously learnt that being kept in a bucket for an hour or so is worth it!}

Stepping Stones

{Last summer we visited Cornwall with my family and found this fantastic stepping stones across a river. The river was tidal so we had to be quick to get across before some of the stones were submerged!}

New Week, New Look

We had a good weekend here. Nothing much planned except time together and relaxing, which led to a bit of team work sorting out the new look. Hope you like.

Have a bright and happy Monday everyone!

My sister walking across the River Lerryn in Cornwall on our holiday. These stepping stones were so much fun...especially as the water started rising while we were halfway across!

More photos to come...

Picture Post

An early picture post this week - we went on holiday last night, and I have a few posts lined up to appear during the week.

This one was a joint effort by myself and my sister who was staying this week.

I love this vase - it was a wedding present from a school friend. Strangely one of our uni friends also gave us the green marbles as a wedding present. They go well together!

I took this at the beginning of the week while I was waiting for the kettle to boil. T's parents brought us the heart shaped pasta back from Italy and after the last bits had been languishing a few months I decided it was time to use them up. If you look very hard you'll also be able to spot some Disney princess pasta shapes mixed in there too...

Sunset from our guest room window this week.

I took this as I walked through the church graveyard after playgroup one day this week. I love that colours work beautifully together in nature when if we tried to put them together the result would be hideous.

Picture Post

I've been taking a lot of photographs recently and have decided to try and do a "photo from the week" post on a regular basis. I've surprised myself by being good at keeping up with this blog (heading into its fifth month!) so we'll see how this goes.

Anyway, the photo this week is from a lovely evening out with some friends playing TopGolf (kind of like a driving range for people who aren't that interested in golf). This, ladies and gentleman, is my wonderful husband.
