Planets

Everything has changed since we were young. And by everything I mean that Pluto is no longer classified as a planet. The world isn't too different then. I did have an interesting conversation with a boy at playgroup today though...

"My brother and I have a club in his bedroom. A planets club."

Really? This is a great opportunity to steer a conversation away from Ben 10 and...well, Ben 10*. So I ask what the planet club does...

"We look at planets."

OK, that was a dumb question - which planets do you look at?

"Heaven. Gryffindor. And Ranus!"

Ahh, how times have changed.


*Really, this is all "kids these days" talk about. If you aren't clued up on Ben 10, lucky you. I really hope this programme has stopped by the time I have children.

    I still don't know what Ben ten is... I feel so out of the loop! Am I not down with the kids anymore? Why did nobody warn me this would happen?
